At the age of four, I waltzed into a tiny ballet studio in the suburbs of Houston with a pink skirt and my blond hair pulled back into a bun and knew that was where I wanted to be. I trained at the Ballet Center of Houston for 14 years, spending summers at Boston Ballet, the School of American Ballet, and the Pacific Northwest Ballet, gaining as much knowledge and technique as possible. After I graduated from high school, I moved my life to Seattle and trained in the Professional Division with the Pacific Northwest Ballet for three years. I went on to dance professionally with the Grand Rapids Ballet, The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, Utah Regional Ballet, and Deos Contemporary Ballet. I have also guested with Aspen Santa Fe Ballet and Ballet Memphis.
While I was dancing in Seattle, I started taking online classes through Liberty University to work towards a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Marketing. In the fall of 2016, I happily received my diploma and declared that I was definitely ready for a break from school. In July of 2018, just shy of two years later, I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) to pursue a certification in holistic nutrition. Now, I am able to combine my career training and experiences in dance, my background education in business, and my passion for health and wellness to create Life Fuel Holistic Wellness!
I graduated with a master’s degree in nutrition and functional medicine from the University of Western States in 2023. I am currenly under supervision with The Clinician’s Incubator, where I am working towards my 1,000 hours of supervised practice to become a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS).
